On June 22, the United States launched \u201cOperation Midnight Hammer,\u201d targeting Iran\u2019s nuclear infrastructure at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. According to U.S. officials, the strikes caused \u201cextremely severe damage,\u201d although Iranian sources claimed the impact was limited due to advance evacuations.<\/p>\n
Israel, for its part, has been conducting its own military operations\u2014dubbed \u201cOperation Rising Lion\u201d\u2014since mid-June, hitting over 100 Iranian military and nuclear sites. These strikes have resulted in over 220 deaths and 1,000 injuries, many of them civilians.<\/p>\n

Russia condemned the U.S. strikes as a violation of international law, and Pakistan expressed support for Iran.<\/p>\n
This is not just a regional skirmish\u2014it\u2019s a conflict with global implications. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz could trigger an energy crisis, while the use of ballistic missiles and possible proxy group involvement threaten to draw neighboring countries into the war.<\/p>\n
