The\u00a0State Coordinator will provide overall leadership and management of the\u00a0PMI REACH Malaria\u00a0project in the state in a manner that strengthens partnerships with the state government and other\u00a0partners and\u00a0leads to sustainable\u00a0malaria\u00a0control\u00a0efforts.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will spearhead coordination, implementation and reporting\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0PMI REACH\u00a0Malaria\u00a0project in the state and ensure\u00a0optimal\u00a0resource management of the project.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he\u00a0will serve as a member of the Project Management Team and will\u00a0be responsible for\u00a0overall project performance in the state of primary\u00a0responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide\u00a0overall\u00a0leadership and management of the\u00a0PMI REACH\u00a0Malaria\u00a0project\u00a0supported state malaria program including\u00a0leading the development of an integrated malaria plan for the State.<\/li>\n<li>Lead operationalization of the\u00a0PMI REACH\u00a0Malaria\u00a0project\u00a0states\u2019\u00a0malaria plan.<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for all task requirements for planning and reporting on state-level activities.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and network with relevant malaria partners and stakeholders in the state to strengthen coordination, integration and resourcing of activities and promotion of a shared vision for malaria elimination in the state.<\/li>\n<li>Interact\u00a0and\u00a0communicate\u00a0on\u00a0behalf\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0PMI REACH\u00a0Malaria\u00a0project\u00a0to\u00a0key\u00a0stakeholders\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0malaria\u00a0partnership\u00a0and\u00a0with\u00a0government\u00a0counterparts\u00a0at\u00a0state\u00a0level<\/li>\n<li>Lead\u00a0and\u00a0provide\u00a0oversight\u00a0to\u00a0quality\u00a0assurance\u00a0of\u00a0state\u00a0level\u00a0activity\u00a0implementation<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to\u00a0the\u00a0establishment of\u00a0a system for project monitoring, evaluation and reporting in collaboration with the M&amp;E\u00a0Manager\u00a0that includes periodic analyses and review\u00a0for evidence-based decision-making and\u00a0program management.<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for management of the state malaria budget and all other resources under the direction of\u00a0the Chief of Party\u00a0and DFA<\/li>\n<li>Supervise staff and manage staff performance and development.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear documentation of programmatic achievements as well as required data and keep\u00a0the Project\u00a0Senior Management Team informed of state activities on\u00a0a\u00a0monthly,\u00a0quarterly\u00a0and annual\u00a0basis\u00a0and as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in Public Health, International Development,\u00a0or\u00a0another health related\u00a0field.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated\u00a0a\u00a0minimum\u00a0of\u00a0five\u00a0years\u00a0progressive\u00a0experience\u00a0in\u00a0public\u00a0health\u00a0and\u00a0working\u00a0with\u00a0development\u00a0agencies\u00a0and\u00a0organizations,\u00a0government\u00a0officials,\u00a0civil\u00a0society\u00a0leaders, community\u00a0leaders,\u00a0project\u00a0beneficiaries\u00a0and\u00a0project\u00a0staff.<\/li>\n<li>Strong\u00a0technical\u00a0leadership,\u00a0health\u00a0program\u00a0and\u00a0financial\u00a0management\u00a0background.<\/li>\n<li>Ability\u00a0to\u00a0negotiate,\u00a0collaborate\u00a0and\u00a0coordinate\u00a0with\u00a0a\u00a0range\u00a0of\u00a0stakeholders\u00a0in\u00a0a\u00a0context\u00a0of\u00a0complex\u00a0and\u00a0shifting\u00a0priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated\u00a0management\u00a0capacity\u00a0in\u00a0coordinating\u00a0public health\u00a0programs\u00a0at state level\u00a0with\u00a0proven\u00a0ability\u00a0to\u00a0oversee\u00a0multiple\u00a0activities\u00a0projects\u00a0simultaneously\u00a0in\u00a0multiple\u00a0locations.
